Welcome to the MMB blog!

Thank you for visiting.

MMB Photography is a wedding and portrait studio based in Fort Collins, Colorado.

We are currently accepting a limited number of weddings for 2010.

Portrait sessions are generally booked 3-4 weeks in advance.

Pregnancy portraits are typically scheduled 6-8 weeks before your due date.

Newborn portrait sessions are scheduled as early as possible.

The old blog can still be found... here.

My compassionate girl is all about a cause.  Most recently, its Haiti.  She’s devised a complex scheme of levels of donation (from me) and corresponding prizes (made by her).  There are bookmarks, friendship bracelets, various coupons for hugs and special dinners… and this.  As soon as I saw it, I knew it had to be mine.

Yoga Portraits

Last weekend I got to do one of my favorite things – yoga portraits.  I spent Saturday at Bikram Yoga Greeley and Sunday at Bikram Yoga Fort Collins, each with a great group of people.   Two days of shooting makes for a lot of work, but its work I really enjoy!

Shae - Stunning! (As usual...) ; )

Ashley - Those are crazy and amazing moves! Welcome back! I've been wondering if you were home yet! Let's get together!

Viking Picnic

We visited our friends Jonas and Harriett, and enjoyed at chilly picnic on the lake outside their home.  Sophia particularly liked the traditional Swedish kick sled.

More From The Road

We worked our way back down the coast from Göteborg – stopping at a few smaller towns along the way.

Another Day, Another Beach

We went back to the cove near our house again… the snow was gone, the sun was shining and it looked completely different.  In addition to shells, we found a few little washed up sea creatures.

I love the skies here… they way they meet the water, completely uninterrupted.

Ashley - Hope you had a Merry Christmas! The thunderhead pic is beautiful. Miss you guys. Thanks for putting Sweden on our map! : )

Tylösand Beach

Despite the weather, we’ve been spending a lot of time collecting shells. Dark  clouds and mist on this beach near Tylösand, but tons of shells to choose from.

More Halmstad

We had a little break in the clouds today… it was nice to see the sun!

Karen - Thank you for sharing the Halmstad photos. The buildings' bricks and stones have such character and I just feel that they're so very old. What a lot of stories they can tell! I especially like the "tunnel" shot. Stay warm! Our temperature is finally going to edge above freezing today. Hooray!

Lisa Z. - I wish I could walk these streets with you and Sophia. Meaning: I miss you.

Halmstad

Halmstad is just down the road from the house in Tylösand – a quick little drive, along streets replete with roundabouts and oddly blinking traffic lights.
