Light

Two interesting images created by this odd Swedish light… the first is a self portrait, shot at 11:45 am.  Can’t get directional light like that around noon in Colorado, now can you? The second is a sunset in Tylösand, shot at 3:15 pm… nuff said.

Tylösand

House

It doesn’t snow here often, despite being so far north – it rains frequently, and temperatures are typically above freezing.  We’re staying in Tylösand, a beach community just outside Halmstad.  Although its pretty quiet during the winter, we do have neighbors… There’s a rose and lavender hedge that runs around the house… lovely in summer, I’m…

Malmö

Our Swedish adventure has begun… we flew into Copenhagen and are making our way toward Halmstad, where we’ll be staying.  We spent a night in Malmö, a little college town across the strait from Copenhagen.
